We got picked up from San Francisco by a shuttle to Collect the camper from just outside the city, we travelled across the bay bridge which had great views back on the city! We will definitely be back again we absolutely loved it! The RV was ready and check in was quick and easy as for driving the thing that was another matter! I had a mini meltdown trying to get used to the sheer size of it with the fact it was an American automatic with paddle transmission and two brakes ha! We sailed down the 5 lane freeway pretty well but the junctions and traffic was a bit harder! We made it to Monterey and did our first supermarket shop which was a Walmart it was huge! The RV site was next to the marina sand dunes it was lovely, brand new facilities it even had a gym and pool room! We had hit the jackpot with this one but it had set the bar high for our future stops...
