Went back to the campsite last night, decided while in a city there's no point driving round trying to find a place to park for the night, when for $15 we can have toilets, showers and no worries about a fine. Crazy camping with a load of Australians just on holiday themselves.
So we did the minjin jungle swing today. 164ft in the air, basically a massive swing in the jungle! It was one of those things where on the way up you feel like you're going to throw up, and waiting for Chels to pull the cord was torture. But as soon as it's going you have the time of your life. So much so we had another go. Filmed it all on the go-pro, however will not be showing family the first swing - lots of swearing hahah.
The last few days have been really busy, so this afternoon we headed over to a beach called Palm Cove. Which is a 40 minute drive north of Cairns. Was nice to get onto some sand and have a little dip in the sea.
Have to do some washing tonight. Don't know how I've got so much stuff to wash when I managed to wear the same top for 4 days!
