I wasn't sure what to do on my last few days, so I decided to ask my friends on Facebook!! I ended up going to Camden Market, which was excellent!well... Excellent apart from the rain, which started coming down about 40 minutes after I arrived. I sat and had a fair trade coffee, hoping it would pass, but it didn't! In fact it got even worse and soon it was pouring down! Luckily I had my umbrella, and stuck to the inside stalls. I bought a notebook with a pretty design on it, and some Indian style cushion covers! ( not very British, but oh well!). unfortunately I wasn't paying attention and my foot went sploosh in a big puddle, soaking my shoe and sock! Yuck!!
When I was finished with the market I headed to the underground (where it felt so nice and cosy and warm!) and went to Oxford Street to check out the shops! It was very busy, and the changing room lines were extremely long, so I decided to save my £s, and only bought a few toiletries from Boots!
I met Todd for dinner ( Free Range Chicken Tacos, very yummy!) and then we went and saw Blood brothers, which was very good, but a bit slow in parts. I also managed to drop half of out gummies on the floor! Whoops!
Later that night I was lying on my 'bed', which is the two big couch cushions on the floor next to the cushion-less couch, and I heard a noise.
I couldn't tell what it was, but there was definitely a noise, so I turned on the light to check it out. Eventually I realized it was coming from the couch! Now I was starting to get a bit freaked out. The other day one of Todds friends was telling us a story of how their frien won a huge stuffed panda bear, which they had for ages, sat on it, cuddles it, lay on it, etc. Then one day their room mates were fighting with it, and it split open, and out poured hundreds of maggots!!!!!! Yuuuuuck!! So this was what was in my head as I inspected the couch. There were a couple of small cushions still on it, but I didn't want to look under, scared of what I would find! I decided to send Todd a message to see if he was still awake. Then I just kinda sat there staring at the couch, and the noise stopped. Great, now Todd was gonna think I was crazy, and then all of a sudden a little grey mouse-head popped up from the corner of the couch, and then quickly disappeared!! Ahhh!
Now usually I find mice pretty cute, and I'm not one to get scared, but having one living right next to your head while sleeping ... Ummm no thanks!!
So I woke Todd up and crashed in his (hopefully mouse free) room for the night- luckily my last one before heading home!
