Today we drove to a town in former East Germany called ********. Here we went to Schweriner Castle and had a look at the museum inside and the gardens around it! We also did a little shopping at the only shopping mall nearby before heading back to Liz's where all 3 of us had a nap! Traveling with a little one can be exhausting at times! ( Baby C is 3 months old)!

In Hamburg we parked up at the harbor and booked in on a boat cruise! Unfortunately we were too late for the English one, but the others happily volunteered to be my translators! We had a quick and delicious ice cream while waiting for the boat, and then set off on out cruise- with Baby C looking very cute in her little sailors outfit! Today the sun was finally shining so we loaded up the car and headed to the beach! We dove to a beachside town called Travemunde, where there was a festival going on with heaps of food stalls, shops, little bars and live music! Today Liz's friends from Switzerland were visiting, so we drove to the old town of Luebeck, known as the home of Marzipan! Our first stop was the Holsten Gate, which was built in 1464 , but because of the moment of the ground it is now on a bit of a lean!! After taking the ferry from Sweden to Rostock Germany, Liz picked me up and we drove to the tiny village of Cronskamp! Her parents own an old farm house, built in 1928, and it has a lot of character! You can see where the stables used to be, and they have an old wood oven! Very cool!
