Today we took the train out to Brighton for the day! We were luckily enough to have blue skies and sunshine, although it was a little windy. After walking along the water front for a bit we stopped at a restaurant with a live band for fish and chips and beers! There was a crazy old man who was dancing to the band with all these inane hand movements. Amazingly when we walked back by a few hours later he was still there!
We met up with Todds colleague and and her friend, and walked along Brighton pier, and went for a ride on the Horror Hotel- which was more funny than scary!! Then Todd ad I went on the Brighton sightseeing bus that took us on an hour tour of the town. This weekend was the Brighton Pride- a gay pride festival and the street that it was happening on was PAcKED!!
Another walk along the stony beach and an ice cream, and then it started getting really windy and chilly so we hopped on the train and headed home! :-)
