Spent the day cruising around the Bay of Islands. We went through the famous 'Hole in the Rock' before having a picnic lunch on a secluded island. We managed to see lots of Bottlenose dolphins swimming around us too, they were huge. Normally we would have been able to swim with them but there where babies in the pod which prevented us from doing so. We still enjoyed the acrobatic show they put on for us though. Even though the water was freezing, David still decided to participate in boomnetting - holding onto a net for dear life in freezing cold water whilst being dragged along by the boat trying not to swallow too much salt water in the process. It was better fun watching!!
