From Taupo to Wellington, we stopped in an adventure lodge for one night in River valley. It was really cool place to stay, wish i could have stayed ther longer actually. the accomadation was a giggle too, it was two massive bunk beds whcih slept 8 people on each level! So, it was basically a row of matresses. We named in the orgy dorm! There was lots to do, from white water rafting and horse riding to playing volleyball and swimming i nthe river. it was a cool place, with propper outdoor showers and everything lol! The bar provided plenty of drinking games and if you climb around a massive table they had you got free beer. I didnt quite manage it but i got my free beer by balancing 14 nails on one nail, impressive! Then a short drive into Wellington. Great night life and lots to see, but not loads of things to do. I found after having a look around and this very arty city and looking in the museums and harbour, there wasn't much else to do! I have bought my ferry ticket across to the south island already. Everyone raves about the south island so i cnt wait to get there! x
