From wellington, we travelled south to Nelson for a night, West Port for a night, then to a lake called Lake Preaunau (thats really really wrong)! At the lake resort we had a massive party a pub called the poo pub and the fancy dress theme was to wear anything but clothes! VERY FUNNY night!! At the moment, i am in Franz Josef and its really amazing here! Yesturday i did another skydive, wot a s*** idea, because was the afternoon after the poo pub party! So i felt like s*** but thought id still go through with it, so i did! About half way down just after pulling the rip cord i then proceeded to vomit all down myself and the tandem instructor, who got very pissed off. Who can blame him? The worst of it happened about 100m off the ground so everyone could see! So after that scene of public plumbing i was a little down heartened! After being at the butt end of a lot of banter from the guys of the Kiwi bus i was feeling more upbeat!

The next day i signed up for some ice climbing on Franz Josef Glacier! i was so excited to do this and it has been the one occasion in my whole life where i was out of bed as soon as i woke up! THe day began with a 2 hour treck to the Glacier and and hours walk up it. We stopped whilst the instructors set up out first climb. i got the hang of it straight away and was making easy work of it. We did 6 climbs throguhout the day and th last climb was the trickiest but i conquered and went up to do it again. Whilst everybody else was clutching there arms in pain, i tried another more difficult route up the ice wall. It included goin up and over-hang and then traversing slightly on to a more venrtical wall to finnish off the climb. i was the only one who did it, yeeeh booiii! It was so awesomem and well worth the money, whereas the skudive was NOT! ha ha x
