Well today had a mini adventure arounf port douglas and then off to Cairns for a trip on the skyrail and a army duck which was great.
Took a short stop to four mile bay which is literally a beach that runs for four miles, unfortunately there was no swimming allowed as it is stinger season, however they do corner of a section of the beach with nets to try and combat this problem. The whole area of port douglas and cairns is so so green but it does have alot of rainfall during december and february.
Next stop was the sky rail which runs for about 5 miles above the rainforest canopies and is truely a scary experience but well worth it. There wasnt to much wildleif about but there was a massive waterfall to make up for this. The heighest point of the sky rail is approx 60m above the ground.
After this we headed of to the army duck which travels on land but also in the water. No crocs seen today but i did see a bush turkey and apparently a rock tastes better than that thing.
