Sam the all star Trecker
We arrived on the boat with our bags of alcohol and were quite exited about the prospect of spending 3 days and nights on the ocean! We were also relieved that the boat wasn't full of 18 year old larger louts! The crew looked quite boring though and very serious about their jobs. We nearly laughed when they said they were going to bed at 8 but hey they had to be up really early too! The first day we ended up getting quite drunk as the sun was setting around us! The sights were unbelievable and helping ut with the sail and the coffee grinders was quite fun! It was an 82 foot maxi yacht and used to be used for lots of sailing! That night we played some games with the people on board (mostly guys) and then hit the sack. It was a really hot nights sleep as there was definately no air con on this boat! The next day we were quite tired but went for a scuba dive without an instructor (as we were trained now) still quite scary though and lost someone in our group so had to do an emergency bouancy. After this we went to Whitehaven beach where the sights were unbelievable. The beach was untouched and you could wash your jewellary in the sea and sand it was that clear and the sand was so fine! It was gorgeous. That night had a few more drinks and slept on deck under the stars which was amazing!!The next day we did another dive with JC our diving instructor who was a good laugh! Also went for a snorkel and saw a fish bigger than me just swimming next to me it was bizarre!! Had another sleep under the stars and in the morning we had some of the delicious food that Adam had been making us on the boat for the last few days and then geaded into shore! That night back in Airlie beach we had a good night out and met up with everyone!! The skipper (Mat) had let his hair down a bit now! That now got in quite late but had a run in with a horrible girl who woke us all up in our dorm! Was not happy. The next morning woke up early and headed to Kroombit.
