Arrived at Hervey bay a quiet town where we stayed 2 nights and booked our trip to Frasier Island. We booked our own 4x4 between the 4 of us (Kirsty had been adopted as part of a crew as she is ace) and some nice accom and hit Frasier Island which we got to by Ferry. You have never seen anything like it. Its just a big heap of sand and there are planes and jeeps all over the place just going up and down the sand. The lakes were amazing and crystal clear full of spring water. Saw lots of turtles and drove to all the spots. Got quite drunk one night as you can prob tell from the photos. It was sooo funny and we ended up going next door and speaking with a load of older travellers. I had red wine spilt down my last white top which everyone found hilarious!! We did lots of singing again (what a surprise). During the day we vistied all the crystal clear lakes (me and Kirsty even walked around Lake McKenzie which was deceivingly larger than thought and we ended up having to run so we wouldn't miss our ferry home). We also went to Indain head to look out for the sharks, whales and dolphins. I didn'see any but hey I am blind. We also went to the champagne pools and spent one night watching the sunset over the miles of beach. It was lovely. It wasn't as sunny as we would have liked but we still had a good time! When we got back to Hervey bay on the 3rd day we treated ourselves to a lovely large chinese and box of wine which was well deserved. The next day we headed to Noosaxxx
