It took a long time for us to work out how to get to Singapore from KL! Firstly some tour guides told us to get the coach at 11:30 but when we arrived at the coach station in KL they told us 3 and then couldnt understand us so we ended up getting taxi to Train station and we missed the train so had to wait in the station about 3 hours for the next one. After 5 hours on the coach we arrived in Kuala Lumpar. all the massive buildings and bright lights were very exciting! Much different to what we had been used to for the last three weeks and a definate improvement on the dirtiness of Bangkok. We found a nice hostel to stay in where we had our own room but shared a shower and bathroom etc. Quite exciting though as the first hostel we had been in as the rest of Thailand was just little bungalows for 2 really! We started out at 7 in the morning from Koh Phangan. We had to get a taxi then a boat then a taxi then a mini bus then another mini bus then we had to get in and out of the mini bus three times with all our luggage. Arrived at KP on a very nice Catermaran. Got the night ferry to Koh Tao very bizarre and everyone was crammed in like Sardines. Me Vic Dave and Sam brought some SamSung and had a few beverages to get us off to sleep.
