Day 28
Christ - stuck in a room of 4 with another snorer! Been good lately but a lot of people just joined at Leon - think it takes them a few weeks to relax. S*** no hay un bus! So I have to walk 16kms - well time to institute my new discipline - plenty protein, power my walking from my pelvis (instead of sinking onto my poles), staying aerobic, in my own rhythm, with plenty of rests (can anyone else spell rhythm without spellchecker?)
So here I am 3 kms to go, zzzzing on a bench seat by this picturesque bridge.
Really like the calmness of the villages and countryside along the Camino - perhaps it's because it's a bit economically depressed :( but then what's wrong with the Maniototo atea - very similar without the age. So although I have a few (lot of) weak moments - happier to be here than not :).
