Day 32
The day has been dominated by La Cruz de Ferro where many leave a stone. Reasons are mixed - safe travel to Santiago, forgiveness for sins but judging by the photos and messages the most common is in memory of a loved one who has died.
The emotion was very strong - we could feel it as we approached and watched each group take their turn. So one for Bruce Dorothy & Pit (my family) and one for Jeff and Sal - safe travel.
Jeff had some special tasks for friends back home.
