After we hit the road again we checked out the Death Valley Salt Basin - it kind of looks the same as the salt flats we get back home so kinda wasn't blown away. But it was cool to know we were below sea level and the variation of temperatures we have been through in the past fee days. Route 66 to Barstow The guys from Williams gave us a few ideas of stops on the way from Williams to Death Valley along the 66. He mentioned a place called the Grand Canyon Caverns which is a dry cave. We are so glad we stopped. It was such a cool place. 200ft below the surface in an elevator to explore the cavern and see the hotel room which cost $800 per night. It took us around an hour to explore with our tour guide Ben.
