Day 2
Had a great recovery sleep last night. Phew! That was a relief. Felt great today. By the time we got organised we headed straight for the rv pick up. our gps we hired froze so we popped into Avis to arrange another one. The hire guy was very welcoming and said he would happily come along for the ride and shout left and right from the back seat if we would like....-but we opted for just another gps.
So we managed to get to the rv place and then to the airport to drop off the Cruze along with the GPS which meant We spent the afternoon driving in circles trying to find a Walmart. That shop i thought was on every corner actually wasn't. However if we ever need Starbucks there won't be a problem. Finally we got ourselves our OWN GPS Tom-Tom and are set to go. once we organised the gps the traffic was so slow i could have read a book! that route which said 1 hour took at least 2 hours and we arrived to our KOA park at 7.30 just enough time to get some noodles. - should I say it's only 50kms from last night? Yep lots of circles around LA.
The weather has been amazing so far and is currently 14 degrees with a full moon and zero clouds just like winter at home.
Thinking tomorrow we will do the grocery thing (now we know where to go!) and hopefully hit Disneyland. Yay for holidays!
