Hello Loved Ones!
I have so much to tell you!

Firstly, our stay in Auchterarder was classic Scottish country town. Absolutely fascinating. We took some great photos there and on our drive to Crieff. You will love the photos we took at Kinkell Bridge.

When we left Auchterarder we decided to drive to Aberdeen along the coast road instead of the freeway. So glad we did!

We discovered the town of Stonehaven, with its 'lovely' beach, but more importantly, its spectacular castle on top of a cliff overlooking the sea. If EVER you plan to visit just one castle in Scotland, then this is the one to see!!!! We spent the whole afternoon there yesterday. A real highlight of our trip so far.

We then drove onto Aberdeen - just beautiful. Our hotel room overlooked the harbour with all the fishing trawlers!

Today we drove across to Inverness. Scotland has VERY interesting highways! They have a speed limit of 70 mph, but every couple of miles they stick in a roundabout!!!!! It is a constant 'speed up/slow down' scenario. Very frustrating!

We're staying in yet another lovely B&B called 'The Gatehouse'. We've mixed up our accommodation with hotels and B&Bs. We haven't struck one bad accommodation yet!

Tomorrow we're headed for Glasgow, but we're taking the scenic route, stopping at Loch Ness first, then south and across the Grampians to Loch Lomond and onto Glasgow.
