After a lovely breakfast down near the Hackercher Markt Bahnhof, Dave and Stan headed off to get our BMW hire car. They got it all right then proceeded to drive around Berlin for 10 mins, only to end up back at the place where they had picked the car up. Stan fiddled with his phone's GPS a bit more and eventually managed to get back to The Adina t pick up Pat and Sabina and off we headed towards Goslar. Stopped off at Quedlinburg for an excellent late lunch at a highly recommended restaurant we found tucked away, then continued on to Goslar.

Arrived at Goslar. Awesome hotel called Alte Munze. Crazy little rooms with nooks and crannies everywhere. Modern facilities in the bathrooms made for excellent accommodation, although Stan kept bashing his head on the small doll’s house doorway into our room. Had a quick look around the place, then had tapas at Tim’s restaurant.
