Nothing but setting up the van and fishing...oh and of course some wine.

All packed up, van and cats ready for our summer adventure. MIshka loves travelling in the car but meows all the way. I thought avoiding Berry would be wise due to roadworks. Unfortunately i chose badly an we ended on the steepest roads in damp, misty conditions.Jeep was slipping and then the transmission light came on!!! Had to pull over but finally made it to flat land. Left the cats in the cat motel and made it to Turross.  

Finally, after months of preparation the day finallyarrived. At the airport! Anything forgotten or not done no longer mattered. We’reon HOLIDAYS. The 14 hour flight that I so dreaded, turned out not so badafter all. Both the take-off and landing was smooth and the plane relativelycomfortable – I even managed to sleep a bit. The end of a holiday is always sad. Great views over The Bight. Not only did we lose 2 hours coming home, but daylight saving started as well. Suddenly 3 hours lost for ever. The cats didn't care. They were just happy we were home.

This was an awesome day. After the disappointment of the tour around the island was not running, we settled for a ride to the bay we rode to yesterday. Today we were well prepared. Food, drinks and most importantly snorkeling gear!!! No one was more prepared than Steve....How many gadgets can one man carry?
