Today I spent lot of time walking around with an audio guide looking at the Alhambra. It is situated on the top of a hill that looks down over Granada. Interesting history. Originally built by the Moors, then taken over by the Catholics. Quite a lot of the eastern art and architecture remain. The place is amazing. I am settled in a hotel in Es Canar on the island of Ibiza. A good result after a fairly hectic trip. I started out from the Rhone region and rode the route Napoleon south.
