Ross and Natalie's Travel Journal
Our next destination was Bottle Beach on Ko Phang Nang... this place is truly a gem..completely remote, no cars and only a few bungalows with a fab atmosphere. We met a lovely English couple, James and Kate and spent most of our nights chilling with them. It's amazing how many cool people we've met so far not forgetting the occasional weirdo. After all the laying in the sun and the hangovers we challenged ourselves for another view point visit...this was a hard and sweaty one but well worth the challenge. An English fella on Bottle Beach was celebrating his 41st Birthday and bought 500 pounds worth of fireworks (that's a s*** load in Thailand terms....it was like a New Years Eve celebration!! The following day we left for Hat Yao (north of the Island), Sara and Lewis we should have come here with you (should have skipped Ko Lanta), it is an amazing white beach stretch with a great chilled out vibe. We stayed in bungalows built on cliffs, the waves broke just below us...amazing! Ross and I watched Arsenal progress to the final of the Champions League, more late nights and long beach days.
