May 29th Stayed the night at Red Cliffs Caravan Park, which is just a small park with what appeared to be workers caravans the main people staying there. It was very quiet eevn though it was near a main road so we both had a good nights sleep.
May 30th Today we got away by 9.30am to get to Moorook by 2.30pm. We stopped at Renmark shopping centre to replenish our supplies as potatoes, onions and fruit had to be handed in at the quarintine station on the SA border, not that we had much left at all, as we knew it was coming. Time goes quite quickly as we drive along as we are listening to a good story by John Grisham "The Whistler". This camping area at Moorook is a not a free one but a cheap one, only three power outlets and we got the first one. It is a lovely spot right on the Murray River. Unfortunately it's a bit cold to sit outside. $17 for a powered site and $10.50 for unpowered. All on trust with an honesty box and special envelopes to fil lin your details. if it was warm we would stay another night, but as its not we'll move on tomorrow with a slight change of plans because of the mouse plague in parts of SA.
