We have finally arrived after a stressful journey.

After a sad goodbye we got on our flight to Mumbai. Within half an hour the man sitting next Pete had spilt his red wine all over him and his only pair of trousers.

We safely arrived in Mumbai to find out we weren't booked on to our connecting flight. A little tip; never book through 9flights. Luckily we made the flight with seconds to spare.

We then arrived in Trivandrum where Hari picked us up in his taxi. We learnt the only thing you need to drive over here is a horn. If you want to overtake and drive in to oncoming traffic just beep. We drove through shanty's. What an eye opener. People dont have cats and dogs, just cows and goats. Surprisingly we got to our hotel. It was different.

We made our way out for dinner. Scared to eat meat or anything resembling it, we had a vegetable biriani and a vegi curry. We drank kingfisher out of mugs as they didn't have a licence.

We got an early night and woke up to the sound of cow bells. We've just been for breakfast. Went for the German option. Bread, cream cheese and coffee. Amazed how good the coffee was.

Now getting ready for a day on the beach.
