Merry Christmas Everyone,
The picture for this blog is the nearest I could get to a Christmas tree shape. Imagine it in green plastic with tinsel, baubles, angels etc.
Adele and I went to Bahrain for the day shopping last Tuesday. It was strange shopping without the crowds a few days before Christmas. First we went to the movies and saw Twilight New Moon. This was Adele's choice. I have never read or seen any Twilight until this. Faye you are right, 2 hours or Emo girls looking through their fringes at sad act Emo boys. Adele did cause a little embarrassment when she suddenly took a loud intake of breath when one of the wolf characters took his shirt off. But as a review, poor acting, poor story and the occasional OK special effect. Give me Bram Stoker any day for a real Vampire story.
But we had a great lunch of Thai food and did some crystal shopping for people here, toy shopping for people in England and South Africa, I bought some stuff at Virgin Mega store (our main reason for going) and had dinner at Italian before driving home.
Here in the desert kingdom I guess it could be argued it looks like Christmas as I am in a desert nearer to Bethlehem that most people. There are date palms, camels, goats and it is the night of December 24th
I hope everyone has a safe Christmas with plenty of family, friends, food and love.
Thinking of you all
