Woohoo long weekend! Boo, school starts Tuesday. Since I was finally able to get all my paperwork sorted, it now means I am employed! I will be working as an SSO (similar to EA) helping students with diabetes 3days a week, although it sounds as though more hours are possible. Rob and I both went in the couple days before the weekend for meetings and such, also I needed to bring Lucas in to register for school much to his dismay. He will now be a PEPS student at Port Elliot (with me) in Year 7. I think it's going to be a good fit, and it turns out schools aren't as strict on uniforms as we originally thought- Hooray! Long weekend also brought us together with some friends of our exchange partners. Carol and Greg kindly had us over for a bbq and kept us included in heaps of fun stuff. We went to an outdoor movie in Pt. Elliot- Oddball- cute little Aussie movie; went to the Trots- horse races with a cart; went swimming in an amazing pool, hit the beach, took a little tour in a boat and went to Urimbirra wildlife sanctuary, Wow it turned out to be a very fun filled busy weekend!

Meegan Wonderful! Glad that you are loving your new Aussie home! Mx
Cecilia Was lovely to meet you at drinks on Friday night...what an adventure THAT turned out to be with the arrival of the stormy conditions. Caught up a little at the picnic. Glad to hear you are feeling welcomed and enjoying your first few weeks. Great news about the job too!
