Almost time to make our way to our new home. Left Monkey Mia, and stopped in Geraldton for a night along the way. Left Kalbarri and headed for Monkey Mia. It was only about a 4 hour drive, but 4 hours through basically nothingness. Stopped in town of Billabong for gas, there was a sign saying population 8! We made it to Monkey Mia and ended up upgrading our room so we had a fridge (insulin) which was a good choice, great garden view room close to everything. Drove the scenic Indian Ocean drive from Perth to Kalbarri. Parts were beautiful with ocean views other parts felt like we were in no mans land. Arrived to 38 degrees and a beautiful sea side apartment (Kalbarri seafront villas). Explored a little grabbed some dinner and groceries and chilled. Next morning brought us out to the National Park bright and early, much to Lucas chagrin. Caught the sunrise as we drove to the z-loop trail and then on to Nature's window....
