Hi Everyone!
We went to Noosa after a few people recommended it and we were not disappointed. It had a great beach and beautiful national parks which we walked round all day. We saw our first koala here! We did a coastal walk round the park and then a forest walk we got so much exercise :).
From Noosa we were able to get a free bus to Australia Zoo. When we arrived we headed round the park seeing the biggest tortisies ever and lots of crocs and alligators. Rich went to see all the snakes while I stuck to the koalas. We went to the world famous crocoseum and we were lucky enough to have Steve Irwins wife doing the show. We also saw his kids who were so cute and very confident speaking in front of the crowd. They also brought in elephants, a massive snake and lots of wild birds.
We also saw tigers amongst many other animals and we were able to feed the elephants and kangeroos which felt really weird. Rich held an alligator while I got to hold a koala which was so soft but their claws really hurt!!! We both had a great day at the zoo and want to go again. Was sad seeing Steve's photos and videos everywhere and the road the zoo is on is called 'Steve Irwins Way' in his memory.
Hope your all staying warm and dry back at home :)
Love Hannah and Richard x
