Hi again.

Mission Beach is a very small town 2 hours south of Cairns. We arrived to torrential rain! then the owner of the hostel told us that its the wettest place in Australia.

We decided to do the only thing we could do when its raining....white water rafting! It was bay far the best day ive had travelling, not sure hannah enjoyed it quite as much but we had so much fun. We bought a dvd and a CD with pics of the day on cant upload it here though for some reason so you'll have 2 wait untill we get back.

The rapids were grade 4, (5 is the highest and 6 is certain death) I (Rich) got to sit on the front of the raft with my legs out, i got knocked back loads by the power of the water but it was so much fun, I jumped of rocks into the water and me and this American guy got to sit on the front together as we went down this waterfall...the only word 2 use is wipeout! was really good fun and Hannah even got knocked out once which secretly think she enjoyed!
