Airlie Beach is the gateway to the Whitsundays.

Its a really nice place to stay and we're staying further from the main town so we're not with all the bars and clubs and stuff. We have booked our sailing trip for Sunday. There are so many 2 choose from but we both just wanted 2 do a days proper sailing on a sail boat rather than just cruise round the islands on a engine boat.

We are both looking forward 2 the day out because afterwards we are catching the long bus ride down to Hervey Bay to head for Fraser Island (the largest all sand island in the world)
