Hellooo! Just a quick update on our activities from Chengdu! We went to see the opera at a tea house, which was a real cultural experience! They served us free refills of hot tea through a kettle with a spout as long as a leg! They had singing and dancing solo's on a Chinese violin and trumpet, fire breathing and they managed to change their masks in milliseconds without you realising they had even done it! Hi All! We are sat in a cafe in Dali. We caught the train from Kunming yesterday - a "hard seat", which was an experience in itself, not to mention an endurance test!! 9 hours in total but well worth it for 45Yuan (4 pound 50). Hi everyone! Its our last day in Guilin today before we get the sleeper train tomorrow (for 22 hours) to Kunming. Guilin has been great! We did a tour down the Li river in a bamboo boat and the scenery was amazing!
