Hi everyone!

After an exhausting flight that was delayed by 5 hours we finally arrived! We found our hostel in Kowloon in the north island and unfortunately because we were delayed our room had been given to someone else!! Luckily the guy had a spare room close by - it is very small but very clean so we are happy. We are going to stay here for 3 more nights and explore Hong Kong island some more. I think i can safely say i am the tallest person on the island, Zoe and I get stared at wherever we go but the people are very friendly. The food is interesting to say the least, and we haven't been more adventurous than rice and stirfried noodles yet - watch this space and i will let you know when we do!!! Though I guarantee Zoe will not be eating the gooses head soup we saw! The food is remarkably cheap - 3 quid for a huge plate of noodles, for which we are thankful as we are keeping our eyes closely on our tight budget!
