Hi all!!!

Sorry for the delayed update- we have been on the move and very very tired so have not had much time. Enjoying yourself is hard work! We caught a sleeper train from guangzhou to Guilin after a very interesting experience getting on it!! The train station was incredibly busy and we seemed to me the only foreigners there, you almost had to pick peoples jaws up for them as you walked past ! No one seemed to speAk English and we were at a loss how to get tickets-we had already missed one train!! Then whilst we were trying to speak to the train staf to no avail, out of the blue appeared two little Chinese girls dressed In pink holdiing hands. They said in wonderful chinglish "do you need some help?". Zoe and I both immediatley thought "what's the catch:...." but it turns out they were students desperate to help other students!! What a godsend!!! We were so grateful. The little angels helped us buy our tickets and showed us where to go. The sleeper train was quite comfy, we found our hostel - 10 quid for both of us for 2 nights!! We found an amazing restaraunt today which cost 80 p for us both for a nice meal!!!budget is now back on track! It seems we have been away for months but it has only been 5days or so I think... Time does not seem important to us now. Sorry for the spelling and typos we wrote this on my iPod. Love rich&zoe
