Hellooo!

Just a quick update on our activities from Chengdu!

We went to see the opera at a tea house, which was a real cultural experience! They served us free refills of hot tea through a kettle with a spout as long as a leg! They had singing and dancing solo's on a Chinese violin and trumpet, fire breathing and they managed to change their masks in milliseconds without you realising they had even done it! They also had a hand shadow puppet... he was amazing!

We also saw the pandas, they were cute especially the baby ones that were play fighting and pushing each other around. We got some really detailed closeup photos of them with the big lens.

We managed to do a cookery course that was really intense and spicy! We made 3 local dishes. One chicken and peanuts, one tofu and the other green beans. You could add as little or as much spice as you wanted which was good!

Next stop Bangkok...
