Day 50 - Siem Reap -Angkor Sunrise and Banteay Srey

I thought that we had been up early before, but this morning I was mistaken. Mum woke us up at 4.30am and our tuk-tuk man picked us up at 5am and took us to Angkor Wat Temple to see the sunrise. It was beautiful and peaceful, (with all the other tourists mind you). We bought a seat for Mum and a coffee for Dad and took lots of photos of the sunrise. Our tuk-tuk man then took us to get some breakfast which was yummy. We then had an hour drive to temple Banteay Srey the women's temple made from pink sandstone. The carvings here were very detailed and pretty. After that we headed back to the hotel for a nap before heading out for dinner for a BBQ banquet and a shadow puppet show. The food was fantastic and the show was good, our waiter was lots of fun and came by every now and then to explain what was going on in the show.
