25/11/2009Day 51 - Siem Reap - Relaxing by the PoolToday we organised our taxi from Siem Reap to Phnom Penh, through our tuk-tuk man, he has been so helpful and friendly. We then got into our bathers and lazed by the pool for 5hrs, swimming, reading and eating lunch by the pool. It was great! For dinner our friend tuk-tuk us to a Khmer restaurant - the food was all very yummy!

24/11/2009Day 50 - Siem Reap -Angkor Sunrise and Banteay SreyI thought that we had been up early before, but this morning I was mistaken. Mum woke us up at 4.30am and our tuk-tuk man picked us up at 5am and took us to Angkor Wat Temple to see the sunrise. It was beautiful and peaceful, (with all the other tourists mind you). We bought a seat for Mum and a coffee for Dad and took lots of photos of the sunrise. Our tuk-tuk man then took us to get some breakfast ...

3/11/2009Day 49 - Siem Reap - More Angkor TemplesToday we returned to Angkor this time with our tuk-tuk man (they are a little possessive of their clients, but in a nice way). It was $18 for the day. At the first temple Preah Khan on the main entrance bridge Mum rolled her ankle. Dad caught Mum and laughed until he noticed that Mum wasn't laughing and said that her vision was a little blurry. Dad made Mum hobble over to a shady spot and sat her down on some rocks...

22/11/2009Day 48 - Siem Reap - Angkor TemplesToday we were up early and headed to Angkor to see the temple ruins. Today we had a driver, a guide and an air-conditioned van. It was our guide's first ever English speaking tour! His first language is Cambodian, then Spanish and third English, and he also told us he is studying Russian. The more languages he speaks the more work he gets. His English was very good and he talked lots and lots and lots. Mum and Dad har...
