12/11/2009Day 38 - Hong Kong to Chiang Mai THAILANDToday we got up early again and headed for the train station where we caught the airport express to the airport. We stored our luggage and then caught a taxi to Ngong Ping where we could go on the 360o cable car up the mountain to a small village and Buddha statue. 11/11/2009Day 37 - Hong Kong Zoological Gardens, Yum Cha, Night TourToday we left the hotel reasonably early and walked across the road to the Zoological Gardens. The Zoological gardens is a free zoo, rather like a beautiful park with some animal enclosures. They were the nicest enclosures we have ever seen. 10/11/2009Day 36 -Gaungzhou to Hong KongOur last overnight train was 24hrs! But after the other overnight trains which were about 18hrs long, surprisingly enough it didn't seem like that much longer. We amused ourselves with DS, a movie and sleep.
