Day 49 - Siem Reap - More Angkor Temples
Today we returned to Angkor this time with our tuk-tuk man (they are a little possessive of their clients, but in a nice way). It was $18 for the day. At the first temple Preah Khan on the main entrance bridge Mum rolled her ankle. Dad caught Mum and laughed until he noticed that Mum wasn't laughing and said that her vision was a little blurry. Dad made Mum hobble over to a shady spot and sat her down on some rocks. I thought that Mum was going to be okay and that she hadn't really hurt herself until she passed out! Luckily Dad had good reflexes and caught her before her head hit the rocks. After a few seconds Mum came to. Dad made her rest for a while and drink lots of water. When she felt better they continued through the temple as their tuk-tuk man was waiting for them on the other side. No-one stopped to see if Mum was alright. Mum took it easy and had some panadol and was okay. After that we visited Neak Pean, Ta Som, East Mebon and Pre Rup Temples. Dad bought us some cold drinks from one of the annoying vendors, while Mum sat in the tuk-tuk. A lady approached Mum and asked if Mum would buy her baby for $1!!! It was a nice looking baby and the lady seemed a little older than Mum, Mum wasn't sure she heard right, so she checked and yes the lady was trying to sell Mum her baby for $1!!
