'Analog' - the best burger I've ever eaten. It had two rare cooked burgers, crispy bacon, blackforest ham, avocado, pickled cucumbers, tomato, lettuce and an amazing sauce, the ingredients of which are yet to be determined! It was called the mac daddy - how appropriate! Ian's had bacon, blue cheese and onion rings! Nomnom. The beers came in pint sized cans. What a place.

We went on a city tour today that included a trip round San Diego, taking in the gaslamp quarter, seaport village, Coronado island and its cool hotel where 'some like it hot' was filmed, the old town and La Jolla. Following that we got out on the water for an education on San Diego's navel base which is one of the biggest in the world. The amazing San Diego zoo today!! Courtesy of Joanne 'baps' Atkinson and Jamie, and Chris and Jane Reeves! Whoop! Highlights included the northern Chinese leopard, the black panther, a baby hippo, a harpy eagle and the orang-utans. Such a fab zoo and balboa park in which it is situated was pretty amazing too.
