Day 2 at Longreach. We packed up the caravan and headed back to the Qantas Museum to finish off patrs of the museum we didn't get to yesterday. At around 10am we headed across to the Stockmans Hall Of Fame to take in the Stockmans Show. This was a really reatvand entertaining show, the stockman explained all about being a stockman in outback Queensland. He did funny skits, sung a song and did animal demonstrations. He explained all about the brahman cattle run in the area. All this was done in a massive undercover arena. The highlight for us all was Felicity being called on to the arena to help the stockman out with his horse as he saddled it up. It was very funny and I will post the video on the blog.

We had lunch there before heading up the road to Winton. 34 degrees and we arrived to find the Winton caravan parks were full. Fortunately the squeezed us into the one caravan park with a pool. It didn't take long before we were all in that pool. Tomorrow we plan to hit the dirt and head north west 110km to see where dinosaurs roamed 95 million years ago.
