From Brisbane we came down to the Gold Coast. We had pre-booked into caravan park near Movie World. On the way there we stoped at Dream World to look at the roller coasters. We all felt nervous just watching them. There are five or six parks up here and each really need a full day to go enjoy. Most families do a three or four day park pass with a day inbetween for a rest. Unfortunately because of school holidays next week we can't do that so we are going to try for three parks in three days.
Day 1 (Tuesday) - Wet n Wild. We were up early to get organised. The park didn't open until 10am but we were advised to be there early. Once at the park and organised the fun began. We started with the wave pool before moving on to our first giant water tube slide called Mammoth Falls. It wasn't too scary which was great. After this we headed to a ride called Tornado. This was another tube ride dropping into a big cone. Only four at a time can go so I sat out. This is a crazy ride and you should have seen everyone's faces when they dropped into the cone, looks of horror! We then headed across to a ride called the Kamikaze. It's like a massive skate park half pipe you ride on a tube. Flick and I went on this one. It's completely nuts, the free fall as you drop in takes your breath away. Not inspired after watching the others chose to skip out.
Not all rides were open but we utilized most that were during the day. This included fully enclosed and open slides. We all had a great day and headed home completely exausted at around 4:30pm.
Because it's a waterpark you don't really have an opportunity to take photos and do the rides, so unfortunately we didn't get many photos of all the action.
