Rentsch's Around Australia Take Two
Today we got to Sydney earlier than expected and checked into a Big 4 caravan park right on the beach at North Narrabeen.
After lunch we went to Dee Why beach before driving down to Manly. I have always loved Manly, a relaxed place with a beautiful tree fringed beach. The Norfolk pine trees remind me of Warrnambool. Its a nice surf spot, and there are broad coastal views on the oceanfront walk to sheltered Shelly Beach. The Corso is a buzzing pedestrian strip lined with laid back pubs and family friendly eateries. Bush trails on North Head offer sweeping views of the harbour and city skyline.
Tomorrow we plan to catch a bus to Manly and take a ferry from Circular Quay across majestic Sydney Harbour.
