We spent the morning having a look around Port Macquarie. It's a very pretty place with many amazing beaches. The coastline is ruggered and hilly but very accessable. With a growing population of 45,000 it is said to be the fastest growing town in NSW. It's not surprising given the climate, lifestyle and beautiful beaches.
At lunch we caught up with Michelle and her family, including her Dad Geoff who was visiting from South Australia. Michelle has three girls and they all got along really well with our kids. They also have a pet rat "Dusty" that was a bit of a hit with Felicity.
After lunch we all went for a walk (including Dusty) to check out a historic home, koala hospital and Flynns Beach. It was a really nice and relaxed way to spend the afternoon.
