Day 3 (Thursday) - Sea World. We packed up the caravan early and headed south toward Sea Word. We arrived about 9:30am. The weather had changed from previous days. We had rain overnight and it was now very windy. None the less we were all pretty excited to be there. We have spent the last two days exploring Inverell. It has been great for everyone and for me really amazing to see how the town has moved forward since I was last here as a child. We have camped at Copeton Dam, visited the National Motor Museum, fosicked for sapphires and just enjoyed the area. Its so pretty here and not as I remember it. An early morning soak in the bore baths was great. It was zero degrees outside and 37 degrees in the water. After packing up we headed east toward Narrabri. We stopped for lunch at a spot west of Narrabri called Sawn Rocks. Felicity was very excited as her class skyped her for a chat. After this we went for a walk to check out the amazing rock features. They looked like flutes from a massive church organ. Some flute like rock peices had fallen to the creek below...

From our free camp we headed into Narabri. Our first stop was at the tourist information centre. We learnt Narrabri district is renowned world wide for having some of the highest quality wheat, cotton and fat lambs produced. There is much irrigation done here and irrigation licences are worth millions. Inside the tourist information centre is an actual cotton harvester that the kids enjoyed checking out. This morning we took the caravan to Jayco in Dubbo to have some work done on the hot water system. We had the anode replaced and the tank flushed out. They also discovered the tempering valve was stuffed so they replaced that as well. Money we didn't plan on spending but it seems to have resolved the hot water issue.
