Day 3 (Thursday) - Sea World. We packed up the caravan early and headed south toward Sea Word. We arrived about 9:30am. The weather had changed from previous days. We had rain overnight and it was now very windy. None the less we were all pretty excited to be there.

As soon as we walked in to Sea World we noticed it didn't have the same vibe as Wet n Wild or Movie World. We looked at show times and decided the first thing to see was the Affinity Dolphin Show. This is a show where the dolphins jump out of the water and do tricks. It was good, however we were all left with mixed emotions about whether this was what dolphins should be doing or not.

Mandy and Felicity went on the main big rollercoaster called the Storm Coaster. They also did a fast rollercoaster called the Jet Rescue Coaster. The kids enjoyed all the smaller rides as well.

After lunch we enjoyed watching the jet ski action with the Jet Stunt Extreme. We rode the monorail around the park and checked out all the underwater life at the Shark Bay pools.

Overall I was disappointed with Sea World. I expected it to be more focussed on conservation, marine life rescue, education and rehabilitation. But it seemed to be a theme park with some marine life there. Unlike Wet n Wild or Movie World I don't think we would re-visit.
