Arrived in Ios after a 2 hour delay - took about 5 hours in the end, was cheap (7 euro) and only took Claire 1/2 hour on a fast ferry the day before! Ios wasn't originally on the itinerary but since Claire was going there we decided to go along. I'm glad we weren't there right at peak time (few weeks earlier) as it was pretty full on! Hit the cocktails and shots as soon as we got off the boat and discovered none of the bars in town opened till 12am - so kept going and eventually made it out - free shots galore! That island is real party party party!! Made it back to the campsite eventually, was a bit of a walk. Had a nice lie on the beach the following day and lazed around by the pool. I guess it's one of those places you feel like you've got to try!! Stayed here two nights and then set off for Paros.
