We had three nights in Salzberg and this was where we meet back up with Claire again! Order of play was sightseeing mostly and hunting for Bavarian custumes for beerfest!

The first day we hired bikes and took to the streets. Destination was the Bishops palace and his trick fountains. These are hidden water jets, with the tour guide trying to soak the group!! Hence to say every one was pretty wary of him real quick!! Along the bike ride, apart from getting sore arses, we managed to find a real piece of Sound of Music stuff with the gazebo thing!! Renee and Claire where all "16 going on 17" Again!!! (Don´t give me s*** for knowing the words!!)

Next day was an excursion in neighbouring Germany to The Eagles Nest at Berchtesgaden. This was good for me, WWII and Band of Brothers and all that. Weird to ride in the elevator that Hitler did to!! Was pretty cloudy to start and bloody cold!!! The was a wander around Berchtesgaden, girls where looking for dirndls and a laderhosen for me (never found on of these so expensive). Ren managed to get aone, see the germany photos!!

From there it was on to the beer drinking capital of the world and one of the highlights of the trip for me.
