Originally we were going to spend a few days here but since it was so nice at the beach and we were on the last week of our European trip, we only managed half a day but next time we are in Spain will no doubt make it back! A really nice city, checked out the bullring which was pretty cool, the bullfighting season had finished a few weeks earlier so Dave was a little gutted but that will be something for next time! Arrived in Lagos originally only intending to stay one or two nights, ended up staying six!!! A lady at the bus stop offered us a room for 20 euro a night so we were stoked with that and opted out of camping which was gonna cost pretty much the same!! Arrived into Lisbon stoked what a beautiful day it was so nice and warm and perfect blue skies! After five or so hours on the train arrived into Levanto, not actually one of the 5 cinque terre villages but right next door, we stayed there as it had camping. Nice campsite in the trees, pretty much had it to ourselves, they did great croissants and cappucinos!! This was my 2nd time here, thought Dave had to see it, it's pretty cool!
