We managed to get to Plitvice Lakes National Park pretty easy from Bihac so was sweet, no direct buses but still didn´t take too long. We rocked up to look for a campsite but decided it was too cold (such sooks!) and managed to find a room in this lady Maria´s house, she worked at the park selling cakes & looked after our packs while we checked out the park! We were really suprised how touristy the park was, at first it was masses of older 50+ tour groups...

Another five hours on a bus and we were in Pula! Met another kiwi couple at the bus station and we all set off for Stoja Autocamp after a few issues with the bus route, we made it in the end, walking part way, quite keen to get there since it was almost dark and we still had to set up tents! Arrived in Korčula after a four hour ferry from Dubrovnik. We were really just here to make the most of the last of the summer sun! Found a nice campsite in the bush that was right on the beach, it was pretty empty being end of season and was super cheap so was all good! We did a day trip to Mljet island from Dubrovnik, and once we arrived we wished we had packed up and camped here for a night or two. It was really nice and there were no major villages on the island.
