Colleen & Tom's Explorations
We docked in Alesund (pronounced Or-le-soond) this morning, so after breakfast Tom and I walked around the streets, looking for the post office, which was unsuccessful. It was cold, windy and very quiet so we returned to the ship and sat ourselves in comfy chairs by a window to read/do Sudoku.
We had an early lunch then met on the pier with our tour group. We were given a city tour on our way to the mountain to view the lookout. Then we were taken across to another island to their marine park with the largest tank in Europe. We wandered around their displays, and then a diver jumped into their main tank and fed the fish.
Then back to the shop for the sailaway, roast lamb for dinner and a quiet night.
