When we awoke we were motoring along a beautiful fjord, so we had breakfast in the Lido - it was really pretty.

Our tour today (7 hours) left at 9am - we were put on coaches, driven to a pretty village for photos and souvenirs, then taken further up a mountain that was so steep - at the steepest part the people at the front of the bus were 1.5 m higher than the back of the bus!!

We were then taken to the Stalheim Hotel - a beautiful hotel furnished with antiques and housing an expensive souvenir shop, for morning tea!! After that we stopped at a wonderful waterfall and then on to another lovely hotel, the Park Hotel at Vossevangen (Voss) for an enormous and very well organised lunch - must've been over 300 of us.

After lunch we wandered around then walked up to the station where we caught a train up to the top of the mountain, then another train back to Flam. It was full of beautiful vistas. We stopped for another stunning waterfall and Tom got out to take photos - I was too tired. When we returned to Flam we wandered through another souvenir shop, bought some postcards stamps and returned to the ship for a rest.

When I awoke we went upstairs to the Yacht Club for martinis/beer and Tom watched the sail away. After Chinese dinner in the Lido we sat out on deck watching the fjord pass by - it was very beautiful.
